IN FLAMES: New Single

Nuclear Blast have announced that the first single taken from the new IN FLAMES album “A Sense Of Purpose” will be “The Mirror’s Truth”
Release Date: March 7th 2008 out via Nuclear Blast Records
This is a European single and will not be available elsewhere. The single will include the following tracks:
1. The Mirror’s Truth
2. Eraser*
3. Tilt*
4. Abnegation*
*=EXCLUSIVE NON ALBUM TRACKS
The cover artwork for the single was created by Alex Pardee, for ZeroFriends (www.eyesuckink.com). Alex has also done all the artwork for the album.
Nuclear Blast will be releasing the Track Listing, and album artwork Monday, January 14th.
I think it’s rubbish artwork. Sure it has the relation of the jester race cover artwork in that mirror, ooo clever. But it’s not it’s rubbish. Looking at that doesn’t make me want to buy it. I feel the album art is going to be crap too. Let’s hope the album won’t be disappointing.
Gotta agree with Lord Jon here, awful, awful artwork. And the drawing of In Flames makes me think crappy American screamo, or even worse, some title for a really clicheed horror film.
And the colours, nice metal album colours really. NO, it looks like someone threw up on a tiedye t-shirt.
