OBITUARY have added a UK date to their forthcoming European tour. The death metal pioneers will end the Xecutioner’s Return Tour with a gig at London’s ULU on 3 February 2008, with support from Germany’s HOLY MOSES and Swedish melodic death metal band AVATAR. The tour will see the three bands play thirty dates across thirteen countries.

The Florida band, who originally formed as Xecutioner in 1984, will release “The Best of Obituary” on Roadrunner Records in the US on January 29, featuring the following tracklisting:

Avatar’s second album “Schlacht” was released in October this year and entered the Swedish charts at no. 27, while thrash metallers Holy Moses‘ eleventh studio effort “Bloodbound” is set to come out in spring 2008.
