LIVEFORTHEMETAL.COM is still less than a month old (as this is being written) but is growing steadily. Over the next few weeks and months we intend to increase the content exponentially with loads more reviews, interviews, photos and reports. Our numbers aren’t quite double figures yet so if you’re interested in helping out, please get in touch.

We are looking for…

REVIEWERS

If you feel you have something to say about the music you like and dislike and think you can express an educated and balanced view, we’d be interested in you writing reviews. If you show yourself to be talented in this area you may be sent the latest releases or promos to review or be given access to gigs in order to write it all up later.

INTERVIEWERS

As our reputation grows we will be securing more and more interviews with metal bands, both big and small. If you think you can conduct yourself professionaly and ask the sorts of questions that get metal bands talking and divulging more about themselves then we would like you on board.

NEWS CONTRIBUTORS

Our site isn’t one to post up every minor event that happens in the world of metal but we do ensure that the big headlines make it to our site. If you have a passion for all the goings on in metal today then you could help us keep our news up to date.

PHOTOGRAPHERS

We are keen to always include photos from shows so if you’re an experienced gig photographer we may be able to help you get into show to take photos. We have a policy of only sorting passes for people that have demonstrated a professional nature and level of skill in this area. If you are able to combine writing and photographic talents then you may well be a worthy contributor.

We are looking for both casual and more serious contributors to make this site more comprehensive and representative. At the moment we’re a non profit site so all applicants must be willing to contribute voluntarily and without pressure.
